For bids placed at $499 or below:
- No charges appear on your card until the auction ends and a winner is determined.
For bids placed at $500 or above:
- A temporary authorization is placed on your credit card if you are the top bidder.
- This is not a charge — it’s a hold to protect both bidders and the integrity of our auction platform.
- Once you are no longer the top bidder (or the auction ends), the authorization typically clears within 2-3 business days.
- If you place multiple bids and remain the top bidder, only the difference between each bid is authorized, not the full amount of each bid.
