The certification fee covers the work required to receive, document, secure, research, and evaluate the item. It does not guarantee that the item will become certified, and it is non-refundable.
However, if a certified item is later consigned and successfully sold through The Realest, the certification fee gets refunded to the consignor after the transaction is completed, subject to the applicable program terms.
