Yes. Each item's webpage allows collectors to submit an offer even when the item is not actively listed. All offers are made through The Realest, and the buyer and owner remain anonymous to each other. They never communicate directly, and the owner's identity is never disclosed. An offer does not create a sale or obligate the owner to respond; nothing happens unless the owner chooses to engage.
If an offer is accepted, the entire transaction runs through The Realest. We verify the item's identity, review its condition, re-certify it, confirm it continues to meet our marketplace acceptance criteria, and hold the transaction until the item is validated, protecting both sides while the chain of custody is updated. The buyer never pays the seller directly, and the seller never ships to the buyer.
