Do certified items come with a buyer guarantee?

Yes. Certified items sold through The Realest include a limited buyer guarantee.

A buyer may make a claim under the guarantee within 20 days of receiving the item, and only when:

  • The item was purchased through The Realest
  • Material new evidence shows that the item is not consistent with its Certified representation
  • The buyer returns the item to The Realest
  • The Realest confirms that it is the same physical item and has not been altered
  • The claim meets all other program requirements

If a claim is confirmed, the buyer's remedy is a refund of the purchase price, and the item is returned to The Realest. The exact guarantee period, coverage, exclusions, and claim process are subject to the current terms and conditions.
