When you browse The Realest for items of different kinds, you will notice that items are categorized as one of four different types:
- Items listed as "Buy Now" are available for purchase at a fixed price, and they are coming directly from the source.
- Items listed as "Auction" are part of a currently active auction, and allow you to place a bid within the set auction timeframe.
- Items listed as "Make Offer" have already been sold/auctioned off on The Realest, and you can submit an offer to the current owner. (You can read more about our "Resale" process in the link below.)
- Items listed as "Instant Buy" have also been sold/auctioned off previously, and the owner of the item has set a fixed price which you can purchase the item for, rather than submitting an offer. (These items are also "Resale" items.)
If you are looking for items in a certain category, you can go to our search page and apply the filter(s) that are relevant to your search. Please note that (at the time of writing this article) "Instant Buy" items are combined with "Buy Now" items on our search page.

If you own an item and wish to adjust your thresholds for "Instant Buy" and "Make Offer", please see this help article for more information.
